If you need to improve your ability to act and react spontaneously at auditions, meetings, introductions, on stage or in film, as well as improve the range of characters that you can portray, improv classes can help.
In this small group setting, you will play various comic as well as dramatic Improv exercises with individualized attention, and learn to become more comfortable at being spontaneous, while improving your ability to react comfortably to the unexpected.
Philip's teaching philosophy stems from the belief that people learn best by doing. His two hour class is full of games and play. He teaches how to play the games and customizes the training to what will help each student to get the most out of the class. Phil Jacobson has performed Improv professionally since 2003, and taught Improv since 2004. He has appeared in dozens of films, interactive plays and staged readings and has been a storyteller for Historic Philadelphia for 7 years.
